Fundraiser Countdown

In just over a week Angela, Carie, and I will be having our big Scotch Doubles Bowling Fundraiser. It is now crunch time…. The final push for door prize donations.

So far we have received door prize donations from the following places: Kraus’ Pizza, Fazoli’s, The Timken Company, Easton Hardware, Cleveland Indians, Lake Erie Monsters, Canton Museum of Art, Dave and Busters, Subway, Budweiser, Pileggi’s Italian restaurant, and more. We plan on putting everyone’s name in a drawing for these door prizes to be pulled throughout the night.

We also have basket raffles. The baskets are for example: month’s membership to East Coast Martial Arts MMA fit class and a T-Shirt ($80 value), a movie basket ($70 value), Dessert basket ($35 value), Dog lovers basket ($70 value), Laundry basket filled with laundry soap and accessories ($50 value), Mary Kay basket, Romantic basket, and more

And of course everyone loves a 50/50 raffle we will also be having one of those too!!!

Angela, Carie, and I met last night for coffee to talk about all the donations we received and how much we should charge for raffle tickets and basket raffle tickets and so on. We talked about the small details to help us get ready for the big night.

I think we are ready … but I am worried and just want things to run smooth. I am sure it will be fine, but I still worry. I worry the turn out will not be that great, but people keep telling me it will all come together at the last minute. For all of you that have said that … I am holding you to that statement!!! Just Joking.

I have passed the word as much as I can. I have sent the details to all my co-workers. All my friends, family, and the entire TNT yahoo group will get an email soon.. I have even told all my co-workers the first person that recruits 4 teams will receive a $25 gift card of their choice hoping that will light a fire under someone.

  1. The baskets and prizes look great! We're looking forward to coming--bring our tickets to the Group Run on Sunday and I will give you a check.

I found the best way to calm my nerves was to get as many details ironed out and prepped as far in advance as possible.
